Jane: Of all the amazing and uplifting spiritual teachings that Joseph has imparted to us through his books, the information on the Fall is pivotal to our understanding of what went wrong on Earth and how we put it right. Indeed, it is the only satisfactory explanation of the age-old conundrum of how our world of negativity and suffering could be allowed to exist by an all-loving God.

Unlike the symbolic story of ‘Adam and Eve’ in the Bible, Joseph gives us details of how, believing we had discovered a better way to manipulate the illusion of physicality, the angelic children altered the balance of atoms here on Earth – as per the following relevant excerpts from his book – The Fall:
Joseph: Certain of the angelic children, having gone through a series of experiences on the Earth plane, looked into the plan for the evolution of the Earth sphere and felt that experience wasn’t coming to them as quickly as they wanted it to. And, before they were ready to create in conjunction with God’s plan and in harmony with the rest of the creative universe, they felt that they could instigate a different way of doing things.
There is a ‘due process’ to creation and that due process involves the manipulation of positive and negative forces in order to create balanced atoms that can put around you an illusion of whatever you want to create, and then just as quickly can be de-materialised by extracting the equal positive and negative forces within them; by taking those forces back into proto-matter and deconstructing the illusion of reality that you have created.
Certain of the children felt that there was a different way of doing things and that, by speeding up the positive aspect and by withdrawing the negative aspect, they could move through a series of illusions more quickly than had been done at this point in other spheres and in the Earth sphere itself.
It was pointed out that this would create an imbalance in the way that creation was formed and would be a little like using a new ‘cement’ that was difficult to degrade, so you would be putting ‘bricks’ together with a cement that would be almost impossible to remove and, therefore, it would be fine to construct your new illusions …but you would have difficulty in breaking them down afterwards.
Over what would seem to you to be millions of years there was, if you like, a kindly and loving ‘debate’ between the angelic host and the angelic children, with the suggestion from the angelic host that this was not the way to do things …and the suggestion coming back from the angelic children that this was the way to do things and would enhance the Godhead and the whole of Creation.
There came a time when, again in love, the angelic children decided that they would go ahead with their (to them) wonderful, new way of approaching creation anyway. The angelic children joined together and began to create, having altered, with the tools at their disposal, the positive side of creation and the negative energies of creation, causing both to become out of balance.
At that point, because they were entrapped in physical matter, the effect of altering the positive and negative on a global scale and in the surrounding area of space robbed them of their conscious memory of who they were and their connection to the angelic host and to the Godhead.
On other worlds, where matter is created as a balanced commodity, the landscape and the lifeforms you see on a physical level are far lighter than you experience here. Also, because of the balance, there is an ability to see through the illusion back to the angelic host and the Godhead in consciousness, whereas here, because of the solidity of matter that was caused by the experiment, you have to punch a way through that physical matter in order to restore your angelic and Divine memories.
A little about the positive and the negative: drawing on the positive to create meant that from that time onwards on this level of consciousness there was only the negative energy to draw on. The positive, because it was not infused with the correct amount of the negative, could not be deconstructed. It would decompose because the positive needs the negative in balance in order to hold itself in form correctly, so there would be decomposition of the positive, which was then replaced by other projections of the positive, but the energy that was drawn on by the angelic children was actually negative because they could not punch their way through to the angelic host and the Godhead.
You need a blend of positive and negative in equal amounts to allow the illusions that you place in front of you to be easily created and deconstructed. The positive needs the negative and the negative needs the positive, and you cannot extract one from the other or you end up with illusion that seems to be permanent but decays because it does not have the other half of itself in the mix.
Not having studied physics at school, I had to take this information on face value …until 2014 when I received an interesting e-mail from a scientifically-knowledgeable Joseph reader, which seemed to back it up:
Michael Bond: I was pondering Joseph’s comments re. matter becoming too dense and imbalanced with too much ‘positive’ energy. I have had a lifelong interest in nuclear physics and I noticed some info. from physics that appears to substantiate Joseph’s comments. I thought I would share it with you in case it helps when talking to the more ‘scientifically minded’ in your audience:
A positive Proton has about 2000 times the mass of a negative electron, while they both have equal and opposite charges. Thus, Matter as we know it is very much biased towards the positive in its makeup with regard to density (by a factor of about 2000:1). Even though Neutrons have no charge of their own, they reside within the Positive section of the atom (i.e. the Nucleus) alongside the Protons. So, the effect of Neutrons is to add even more density to the Positive region of an atom. Hence the real ratio of density between the positive and negative regions of atoms as we know them is more like 4000:1.
In addition to other observations re. the consequences of having unbalanced atoms, Michael Bond also speculated about the physics of an alternative kind of matter that could work the way Joseph describes in other realms and, indeed, on Earth before the Fall:
I can conceive of a form of matter that had equally weighted positive and negative particles. If the mass of the positive parts were not so disproportionately weighted, then the atoms could be much ‘lighter’ in mass than the matter we know – while still being able to create ‘solid’ objects probably of a much finer nature than our objects.
If the matter was lighter like this, then it would take far less energy to manipulate than our heavy, imbalanced matter does. A sentient being able to direct energy (i.e. light) could conceivably condense pure energy into this less dense kind of matter. Such matter could be configured to create a physical object. Once the object was finished with, it could just disappear back into energy again to become part of the background ambient radiation from whence it came.
